Many of the customers who stay at our Welsh Holiday Parks use them as a base to take advantage of the great Welsh walks nearby. There is such a large selection of walks in Wales that we thought we would help out by telling you about our favourites below.

Kenfig Pool, Kenfig Burrows, Sker Beach

Moderate walk. A circular walk around Kenfig Pool which is the largest natural lake in Glamorgan. The walk takes you throught beautiful sand dunes with views of Swansea Bay and the Gower Peninsula.

Start - Kenfig Golf Club | Finish - Kenfig Golf Club.


Ogmore Down, Dunraven Bay, St Bride's Major

Easy walk on grassy paths.

An easy walk from Ogmore Castle over Ogmore Down and a cliff walk to Dunraven Bay with its fine beach on the Heritage Coast. Spectacular views all along this walk.

Start - Ogmore Castle | Finish - Ogmore Castle.


Nash Point, St Donat's, Marcross

Easy walk.

This short circular walk combines coastal scenery, woodlands, farmland with historic interest and stunning wildlife. Start - Nash Point car park | Finish - Nash Point car park.


Abercregan, Glyncorrwg, Abercregan

Moderate walk.

From the old mining village of Abercregan, follow the Coed Morgannwg Way to Cefn Ffordd, then follow the ridge before descending to Glyncorrwg and returning along old railway lines.

Start - Prossers Terrace, Abercregan | Finish - Prossers Terrace, Abercregan.


Abercregan, Coed Morgannwg Way, Pontrhydyfen

A reasonably difficult walk.

From the old mining village of Abercregan, follow the Coed Morgannwg Way to Efail Fach, returning along old railway lines in the Afan Valley. The industrial scars of this area have healed, leaving views of green valleys and rolling hills with masses of flowers, butterflies and birds.
