Cities and towns
- Porthcawl, near Trecco Bay Holiday Park. Porthcawl is a traditional seaside town with several beaches, including two with Blue Flag status. As well as the beaches there is also a grand pavilion, fun fair and many bars and restaurants.

- Carmarthen, near Pendine Sands Holiday Park. Carmarthen is a thriving commercial centre with old and modern shops and an indoor and outdoor market. Visit nearby Llansteffan with it's pleasant beach and impressive castle.
