Outstanding Twixmas Break

We have stayed in many lodges over the years with different companies so we pretty much know what to expect. Tummel Valley however was outstanding on every level. From the welcome of mulled wine and mince pies to the goodbye breakfast we were very impressed. We haven't seen this level of service and effort put in for the guests since our last visit to Australia.

We have stayed in many lodges over the years with different companies so we pretty much know what to expect. Tummel Valley however was outstanding on every level. From the welcome of mulled wine and mince pies to the goodbye breakfast we were very impressed. We haven't seen this level of service and effort put in for the guests since our last visit to Australia.

We could see just how hard the staff were working yet they managed to find time to talk to you and make you feel completely at home. We particularly appreciated the staff ensuring my wheat-allergic husband's meals were safe including producing wheat-free Yorkshire puddings, bread and sausages. This was certainly more than we expected from them and it made us feel welcome to be there.

Additionally, we were travelling with reluctant teenagers who appreciated the Wi-Fi in the club and admitted today that they had "quite enjoyed it" - praise indeed!

We had the best holidays ever at Tummel Valley, we always stayed in caravans but this time we experienced a beautiful lodge which was even cleaner and more spotless than expected!

Pre Christmas Holidays

We had the best holidays ever at Tummel Valley, we always stayed in caravans but this time we experienced a beautiful lodge which was even cleaner and more spotless than expected!

It was so warm and welcoming and the swimming pool at the complex was really nice. As we had a riverside lodge we enjoyed the sunrise and the moon was immensely beautiful in the river flow… So relaxing and romantic... Loved it.

Arrived in the dark but lights and heating in the lodge had been switched on for our arrival, making the lodge very welcoming. Lodge No 7 was very clean, warm, well equipped and luxurious. The park itself was a wee bit quiet but we didn't mind. Kids were free to roam around and enjoyed feeding the ducks.

November holiday

Arrived in the dark but lights and heating in the lodge had been switched on for our arrival, making the lodge very welcoming. Lodge No 7 was very clean, warm, well equipped and luxurious. The park itself was a wee bit quiet but we didn't mind. Kids were free to roam around and enjoyed feeding the ducks.

Had a wee problem with the heating but this was resolved by the friendly maintenance man within minutes of the fault being reported. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only negative was no phone signal and would have liked wifi in the lodge but this was our 7th visit in 5 years and we will return.

My caravan in the park

We traveled up from Birmingham, on Monday morning; we stopped at the lakes services on the way up. We then had a short break at Pitlochry, before arriving at the park. We were greeted by a very nice man who gave us our key and told us how to find our caravan. My wife bought a loaf from the very well stocked shop.

We went and dropped our things at the caravan, then walked back to the club for a meal and a drink. This was very nice and good value for money. We used this as a base to tour around Scotland, the caravan was really nice and it was well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Had a great time with fantastic weather which was unexpected for the end of September. My daughter (adult) and a friend climbed one of the Munros on the Sunday (the only wet day. On the Monday she and her boyfriend climbed Schehallion which you could see out of our main caravan window.

The rest of the time was spent just relaxing and visiting some of the local tourist spots, including Pitlochry, plus using the facilities @ Tummel Valley. Lots of lovely wee walks for the dog.

The caravan was spotless and the central heating fantastic though we had to switch it off a few times as the weather was so good! The sheets were all neatly bundled for each bed so we didn’t have to open everything up in order to find the correct sizes. Will definitely return next year!
