There are so many places to visit when you stay at one of our Scotland Holiday Parks we have made a list of our favourite Towns & Cities to help you choose where to go while you holiday with us in Scotland.

Dornoch

Dornoch is an old historic town which is set in a stunning location with beautiful landscape and amazing views. The town is only small in size and population but with its sandy beaches, championship golf course and busy town centre there is a lot to keep visitors interested. Due to its setting walks in the town and surrounding areas are very popular with tourists.


Nairn

Nairn is a quaint Scottish town with a strong local community and is dominated by the town’s history. The main attraction to Nairn is the number of stunning historic buildings which are in the town including; St Duthus Church and Tain Tollbooth. On the outskirts of Nain is one of Scotland’s biggest attractions, the Glenmorangie Distillery.


Brora

Brora is a very quiet village in the Highlands, even though there are not many attractions or facilities the town is definitely worth a visit. The reason for this is the stunning scenery and atmosphere what Brora has to offer.


Invernes

Inverness is the most northern city in Britain and is the capital of the Scottish Highland. The city has a big history, seeing many battles and historic buildings develop over the years. Nowadays Inverness is a growing and much improved city with many modern delights such as its restaurants and high street shops. However there are some amazing historic attractions such as the castle and Inverness Cathedral.


Elgin

Elgin is a busy market town in the North East of Scotland which grew large in the 13th century. The town has a busy high street with a large market which is popular with tourists.


Dumfries

Dumfries once used to be the medieval centre of this region; even though little of that history remains today the town is still busy and popular with visitors. To remind you of its past the town is stacked with museums and galleries which educate you of the town’s important history. The centre however is now more adapted to modern life with a good number of shops, restaurants and bars. The town has two quality golf courses also.


Ayr

Ayr is a large holiday town on the Clyde Coast; the town has fantastic views of the local coastline and countryside. Ayr is an old town with many historic traditions; even though much off its history is protected it does have the facilities of any modern town. One of the big attractions to Ayr is its strong connection with Robert Burns.


Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock is a busy town with plenty of history, the town originated over 1000 years ago and has always bee a hub for Scottish history. When you walk around Kilmarnock it is hard to forget about the town’s history with landmarks such as The Laigh Kirk and the Statue of Robert Burns. The town remains busy today, especially Kilmarnock Cross this is a junction where two busy shopping streets meet.


Glasgow

Glasgow is becoming one of Europe’s most popular and cultured cities, over the last decade the city has grown and become a city with style and class. Visitors in Glasgow will never be short of anything to do, if you want a gallery or museum there is over 20 to choose from and if you want shopping Glasgow has some of the best shopping outside of London. Glasgow has many gorgeous and striking buildings due to some fantastic Victorian architecture.


Troon

Troon is a coastal town just eight miles from Ayr and has some very picturesque locations; it also has a very busy port and working harbour. Troons most famous attraction is the Royal Troon Golf Course which every seven years hosts the Open Golf Championship .
