Want to stay a little bit longer

We had a lovely time at the park everyone from booking to reception and site staff were all very good, nothing was too much trouble. It is a great position for all activities and things to do and see. We will happily go back again. Hope to see you there.

Fantastic weekend

We have just had a fantastic weekend at Southerness. Caravan was excellent, best we have ever stayed in. Kids had great fun each evening with entertainment on and the complex was just the right size. Staff everywhere we went were to be commended with special thanks to Andrew behind bar.

Fantastic weekend

We have just had a fantastic weekend at Southerness. Caravan was excellent, best we have ever stayed in. Kids had great fun each evening with entertainment on and the complex was just the right size. Staff everywhere we went were to be commended with special thanks to Andrew behind bar.

We were not aware that the complex shop would be shut on Sunday night and left it to then to pick up photos taken with Sid and Lizzie, however on Monday morning at check out we called into complex where a member of staff was very helpful, he opened up shop and printed off our pictures despite probably having other things to do. Unfortunately I did not get his name, but hopefully you should be able to find out who it was and give him our thanks. Our kids were delighted with the pictures and went home smiling.

Would definitely consider coming back and I have recommended the campsite to numerous people. Thanks again for great holiday.

4 day break

4 day break

8 of us in a caravan and plenty of room to move about. I was surprised. Although it was October and chilly outside the caravan was nice and warm. We arrived to a busy reception area but were seen to quickly by a smiling cheerful and helpful staff. We were short of bedding but a visit to reception seen us with the sheet and quilt cover within 5 minutes. Brilliant.

The pool has been moved and up-graded since we last spent time here and the kids loved it. The bar areas are clean and the food good. All the staff were great and friendly and the entertainment good with a lot of effort put in to make us enjoy our stay even although it was at the end of the season. Suggest a bowling alley and bikes for the kids to hire.

1st time and loved it

Great Holiday

Great Holiday from start to finish. We have been going on Caravan Holidays for years and the entertainment staff (Troupers) are the best we have ever seen. The pool staff were lovely and helpful and one even went and checked that we could stay and play water polo. The caravan was basic but does the business and was in an Ideal location. Will certainly be back.
