Can't beat it!!

Just returned from our second visit to Nairn. Wow, wow, wow. We enjoyed it so much last year we decided to return this year for 2 weeks. The weather was great; the beach is stunning, better than being abroad. The staff are really friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible.

My 2 children (aged 11 and 8) love it at Nairn, they feel confident, they know their way around and they go off and do their own thing, like going on the play park or to the amusements. It was a truly relaxing holiday, we enjoyed every single second and we all felt really sad to leave.

Nairn Lochloy Beach

We are just back from our second holiday at Nairn Lochloy and we just love it! Our three children and our puppy Millie just love the beautiful beach at Nairn, nothing beats going out from our caravan first thing in the morning on to the beach. The beach is just a stone's throw away from the caravan with miles of beautiful sand and clear blue sea.

On a sunny day when the beach is full of happy laughing families you forget that you are in the North of Scotland and not abroad! We all loved jumping the waves in the water and playing football in the sand. It makes you feel so happy and relaxed we are booking to come back again next year!

Summer Holidays 2010

My husband, 2 kids aged 11 and 9 and I traveled all the way from Belfast to Nairn for our July 2010 holiday. The scenery on the drive from Stranraer to Nairn was stunning! We arrived at Nairn Lochloy an hour before check-in but the Sky caravan was ready for us and we were given our key and bed linen.

The caravan was lovely and spacious with central heating and double glazing and we were delighted with it! We had everything we needed in it. The only things we had to bring were tea towels and towels. All in all it is was a very comfortable and clean caravan.

The play park for the kids was brilliant - just the right size and very modern equipment. The swimming pool although on the small size was clean and well maintained, in fact it was just perfect for the size of the caravan park.

The sand dunes and beach just behind the caravan were absolutely stunning! The sand is naturally clean; in fact Nairn beach has won awards for being so clean. We walked on the beach in bare feet which is something we normally don’t get to do. Thanks Nairn Lochloy for a great holiday!

What my daughter thinks

Since our return home to Aberdeen, our daughter keeps asking when are we going back to Nairn. Even though the weather was bad - rain our whole holiday - she still enjoyed going to the harbour to see the ducks and swans and playing in the play area.

We did manage to go to Inverness and Ullapool but the weather did put us off other activities we had planned for our 4 days. We found a great place to eat 'Albert Inn' in Nairn, the staff were friendly and the food was excellent!

So much so our daughter doesn't want to eat lasagna anywhere else! Their menu had a great selection for adults and for kids. We will back again next year and hopefully the weather will be better. Caravan was brill - home from home hope to get to the beach next time!
