Elgin GB Family (the eldest child is aged 5 - 14)
Grannies was a lovely place plenty to do and 3 days was not enough. The arcade is a bit run down and the prizes not very good for how much you spend, swimming pool was average however the changing facilities a bit shabby. The entertainment was good. Better explanation on the facilities would be good. For example my partner had my towel for swimming and I did not realise the male and female changing rooms were so far away from each other and through different doors to the pool. So I was left wondering down a dingey corridor in my swimsuit trying to retrieve my towel. However I would say the food at grannies was excellent the Boston restaurant is lovely and the food of an excellent standard. The playpark is also excellent and lots of fun for the kids

As an adult visiting with my mother and sister I was delighted with the quiet locality. I was very impressed with the Boston restaurant food to the extent that we ate there on 2 evenings rather than the 1 evening we had intended.

enjoyed the week, lovely beach which the dogs and granddaughter loved. the pool is a good size for young children. played the crazy golf and granddaughter went pony riding. nice shop and chip shop very close to the caravan. I would have liked to have brought all four of my little dogs with and not just two as they would have enjoyed the beach too

Brilliant stay - only downside was swimming pool and having to ask to have showers put on when we left early after a session.

stunning countryside and views, also which was most UN expected, seals all the way up the coast, from 1/2 mile down the road, all the way up to john 'O' Groats, 150 miles away.

MICHELLE

EDINBURGH GB Family (the eldest child is aged 15 or over)
The park was lovely and clean. Great location for dogs too.
We were disappointed that we had to book everything in time slots. We struggled to book into swimming.
The onsite chip shop was not nice. Pizza was under cooked and tasteless. We would not recommend the chip shop.
The crazy golf and tennis could do with an upgrade but was good fun
Overall a lovely holiday

Beautiful beaches

Once again a great holiday for us & the kids. Camped right next to the beach where the kids spent a lot of the time. Entertainment fab for the kids as usual, both day & night & can't wait to return. Such a beautiful place in Scotland.

Returned to this Park for 4/5 times but this time as a tourer. When you come down the road and see the building you know you are on holiday with lovely clean beach. The touring facilities were excellent with toilet block very clean and conveniently sited for the tourers. The site has grown dramatically since our last visit but has not been at all detrimental to the site. Embo village has also grown and the locals are very welcoming. If you have a dog you couldn't find a better site with a designated dog walk but also miles of beach to wander.

way up north

While touring the north of Scotland we booked into Grannies Heilan hame a great clean welcoming site and at a price that was great to pay for.

Friendly staff always hard working about the site away from the noise of traffic and a great location for the north of Scotland attractions we will be back.

Grannies

We took our campervan to grannies again. Can't really find anything to be unhappy about. The weather was great, the site clean friendly and well organised. The shop well stocked and had the pool to ourselves. Great three days.

My husband, daughter and sister and I spent a wonderful weekend in our well-appointed and cosy caravan.
