The park itself is fairly decent and I will be returning but every member of staff I had the displeasure of speaking to were a let down.

Pool changing rooms very small. Kids entertainment good but even my 4yo picked up on the same children winning all the prizes.

Our caravan was too close to the club, we were kept awake by the noise, also people walking past and banging on side of caravan.

You need to invest in the facilities on park specifically the bar. Restaurant and entertainment rooms and the pool. The stag were friendly enough but so slow and disorganised even when the bar was empty the shortest I had to wait to be served was 10 mins. When it's busy it's just beyond a joke.

The facilities are ideally suited to a young family, where the Mum and Dad can eat and drink and still have their children with them. The children are well entertained.
It is very poorly suited to adults with no children. We wanted to use our van as a base to tour. At night when we came home it was to eat and sleep. We enjoyed walking on the beach with the dog! Your noise policy is a farce since it says no noise after 11p.m. The only noise I could hear was the complex (music). The boom boom reverberated through your body and was particularly bad on the Wednesday night. We complained on the first night and the girl tried to find us another van but there was only one available (no dogs). I feel we were cheated i.e. if I had seen online where the caravan was situated I would have chosen another site. You were responsible for making this clear and did not!

Grannies

We took our campervan to grannies again. Can't really find anything to be unhappy about. The weather was great, the site clean friendly and well organised. The shop well stocked and had the pool to ourselves. Great three days.

Can we go to sleep now!!!

Camping and caravanning with the grandchildren - aged 5 and 7 - has always been a bit strenuous when our hopes for a quiet evening with a glass of wine turn into marathon entertainment sessions of who's having which bunk.

Not at Grannies Heilan Hame. After a full day of entertainment (and Granny JD did some target practice in the clubroom too), swimming, beach walking and playing with other campers it was quite a shock to be asked "can we go to bed now?"

Absolutely loved the place, the staff were so helpful and cheerful, the facilities great (we're more "wild" campers so it was a novelty for us all) and hopefully we'll be back for a longer stay later in the summer.

I also had a reunion with an aunt I haven't seen for 53 years who came and had coffee in our ancient van in really dreek weather, the icing on the cake really.

Next time hope to venture off the camp, but not too bothered if we don't - always have to leave something to do next visit!!!

Back, time and time again....

We ( hubby and me) returned for the umpteenth time...we initially booked here as wanted to visit Highlands of Scotland ( possibly only once) and loved the area so much.

The site staff are friendly and willing to advise on local places of interest. The site itself is remote, which although doesn’t sound child friendly is set up so everyone of all ages, physical ability, and interests are taken into account. A small pool is well staffed and clean, a sauna, sunbed (if that takes your fancy), a basketball/ tennis court, a lovely kids play area, crazy golf.

A beautiful unspoilt beach within access ( and seals and dolphins have been seen here). Staff can’t do enough to enable your stay here is the best it can be.
