Walking in Norfolk

Bradwell Walk, Great Yarmouth

A relaxing walk with some steep gradients.

A circular walk which passes Hobland Hall and Hobland House, dating from the early 18th and 19th Centuries, the walk also has some breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Start - Bradwell playing fields | Finish - Bradwell playing fields.


Overstrand, Overstrand

Long walk mainly on paths and tracks.

A circular walk which goes through the villages of Overstrand, Northrepps and Southrepps. As well as the great views of the surrounding countryside the walk shows of the historic buildings in each village.

Start - Overstrand village car park | Finish - Overstrand village car park.


Winterton, Winterton on Sea

A moderate walk mainly on tracks and footpaths with some inclines.

A circular walk which links Winterton to East Somerton, the walk includes a National Nature Reserve, an ancient shoreline and Winterton Ness which has seen many a shipwreck. The hills above Winterton give exceptional views over the surrounding landscape.

Potter Heigham, Potter Heigham

A relatively easy walk which can be shortened if needed.

This is an attractive walk around the Potter Heigham area, with its contrasting scenery of drained farmland, bordered by the reed-fringed margins of Hickling Broad and Heigham Sound.

Start - Potter Heigham Boat Yard | Finish - Potter Heigham Boat Yard.


Blofield and Brundall, Blofield

A easy walk with good tracks.

A walk through two rural Norfolk villages with beautiful landscape, also on route are many historic buildings including Blofield church which is definitely worth a stop.
