Weymouth Carnival 2010
If you have been before you will know that Weymouth Carnival is a great day out and as the organisers prepare for this years event its looks like 2010 will be no different. This year’s carnival will take place on Wednesday 18 August and you will not want to miss it.
Weymouth Carnival 2010 is a great day out for the family with spectacular activities and events taking place throughout the day. The fun kicks off in regular style with the Family Sand Castle Competition, allowing families to test their castle building skills against others. Other events taking place throughout the day will include a fly over from the Red Arrows, Football on the Beach and a Space Hopper Challenge. There is also a 12500kg Coach Pulling Challenge which is new for 2010 and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
The most popular events will also be returning which are the Weymouth Carnival Parade and the Carnival Queen Competition. The day will be drawn to an end in spectacular fashion with an amazing fireworks display which is sure to wow the crowds.
