Days out, weekends away, visiting family and friends or catching up on home decorating - everyone enjoys doing different activities during their break.
Why not get all the family together for a great value weekend packed with activities for everyone to enjoy, plus quality accommodation for ultimate relaxation?
To help you plan, we have given you details of this year's bank holidays so you know the important dates to look out for.
May Day Bank Holiday Weekend
May Day weekend takes place from Sat 1 May until Mon 3 May.
May Day celebrates the coming of summer and marks the start of warmer weather and blossoming of trees and flowers after a long winter. Across the Bank Holiday weekend you may see traditional Morris dancing and dancing around Maypoles, or even the crowning of a May Queen.

St Andrew's Day

Christmas Bank Holiday
Christmas takes place this year from Saturday 25 December until Tuesday 29 December, with Christmas Day and Boxing Day landing on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Wrap up warm, sit cosily by the fire, hang lights and garlands and swap gifts. Traditions and celebrations vary but this is a joyous occasion and an opportunity to get everyone together.
It's also the perfect time to escape, be entertained and be served a traditional festive feast (with no washing up!). Why not visit one of our parks open during the festive season and relax?
