Experience the Magic of St Michael's Mount, Cornwall
This summer head to St Michael's Mount at Penzance, a small tidal island just off the coast of Cornwall and follow in giants footsteps.
According to legend, the Mount was the work of Cornish giant Cormoran who would terrorise the locals living in the coastal village of Marazion.
One night a local lad named Jack crept over to the island, dug a deep hole and covered it in straw before waking Cormoran as the sun rose. Blinded by sunlight the giant stumbled down and fell into the hole never to escape.
You can visit St Michael's Mount from Mullion Holiday Park – only a 40 minute drive away. Look out for the heart-shaped cobblestone, rumour has it if you stand on the stone you can still feel the heartbeat of the mythical giant.
Mullion offers a great choice of family holidays and short breaks. In addition to a great selection of quality caravan accommodation to suit all budgets, the park offers a wide range of facilities including heated swimming pools, indoor play area with ball pool, kids' clubs, restaurant and fantastic Showtime entertainment.
