School Summer Holidays!
With the school holidays just beginning in Scotland and fast approaching for the rest of the UK we thought we would give you some ideas on how to spend your summer.
The school holidays are a perfect time to spend time together as a family, and with the weather looking good why not make sure 2010 is a summer to remember.
We have come up with five different activities to help make your summer a great one.
1) Go to the beach - A report this week produced by Sheffield Hallam University suggested that UK seaside tourism is growing and with the sun shining, now is the perfect time to visit the beach.
A family day out at the beach is always fun - from building sandcastles to braving a paddle in the sea - it is a great way to spend time as a family. If you are visiting us at Parkdean this summer remember to visit our regional pages and see which beaches are near the Park you're staying at.

2) Go to a theme park - For a day packed full of fun and excitement, why not head to a theme park! Whether you're into rollercoaster's, tea-cups, boat rides or log flumes, there are a wide selection of theme parks scattered all over the UK to suit the whole family. If you are visiting us at Parkdean this summer remember to visit our regional pages and see which theme parks are close to where you're staying.
3) Do some exercise - With nice weather outside there is no better time to get out and about and participate in some fun exercise. The UK has a summer of sport taking place which is great inspiration if you fancy a game of football, tennis or cricket.
For a more leisurely approach, why not head out for a nice walk or bike ride in the countryside or along the coast. This is a great way to spend time together as a family whilst also getting fit. On our regional pages we have a number of walks and cycle routes that you can enjoy near our parks.
4) Go to a festival - Glastonbury well and truly kicked off this year's festival season in style and with 100's of festivals taking place all around the country, you will surely find one that catches your eye.
Most festivals now cater for families and have different activities going on to make sure they are an enjoyable experience for all. There are plenty of festivals taking place near our parks this summer for example the Rip Curl Boardmasters in Newquay, so why not see if you can visit one whilst staying with us.
5) Take a holiday - Finally, summer wouldn't be perfect without a few days away with the family. With 24 award winning holiday parks to choose from across the UK you are sure to find the perfect holiday with Parkdean.
Our parks are found in beautiful beach and countryside locations and offer families great facilities, free entertainment and fantastic accommodation.
With school summer holidays starting from as little as £176 per family why not book yours today and make sure that summer 2010 is one that you will always remember.
