Plymouth Summer Festival is a great day out for the whole family!

The Plymouth Summer Festival runs from May - September and is a whole summer packed full of events and activities for all ages! With a fantastic programme of events running all summer it is a perfect day out for your family summer holiday.

Come and join in the fun at the Plymouth Summer Festival and enjoy the huge range of exciting maritime, music, arts or food and drink events – including loads of free entertainment on offer every single day!

Get outdoors with the family and watch the Plymouth’s Classic Boat Rally from 31 July to 4 August or witness hundreds of competitors taking part in the Rolex Fastnet Race, battling their way to Plymouth on 13 August in one of the world's toughest ocean races!

Don’t miss out on the British Firework Championships with thrilling firework displays from some of the country's finest practitioners. Wrap up warm and gather with the family along Plymouth's waterfront for the eleventh British Firework Championships on 11 – 12 August.

If tasting the regions culinary delights is more your thing then visit Plymouth between 14 – 16 August for the 2009 Flavour Fest when over 120 of the region's best food producers will have their delicious food and drink on offer.
