£10 million reasons to book
For 2010 we've invested £10 million across our parks, which includes over £4.5million on accommodation, with 321 new caravans and lodges this year.
So we've got NEW holiday homes at EVERY park, many with double glazing and central heating!
The new models include caravans designed for larger families with a central lounge facility and extra bathroom, available at: Sandford in Dorset, Trecco Bay in South Wales and Holywell Bay in Cornwall.
In addition, we have spent nearly £1.1 million on luxury lodge accommodation at Ruda in Devon, St Minver in Cornwall and Warmwell in Dorset.
Plus we've invested in our facilities too so eating, drinking and entertainment venues have been updated to make your stay with us even better!
The investment in new accommodation, facilities and entertainment at all parks, brings Parkdean's total investment to £57 million in the last four years alone.
An example of this investment includes White Acres Holiday Park, near Newquay in Cornwall, which has invested over £360,000 on new holiday homes, refurbishment of lakeside lodges, plus a brand new restaurant and bar area.
Plus, Wemyss Bay Holiday Park, located in Scotland benefited from a £630,000 investment including new non-smoking top of the range accommodation with double glazing and central heating, plus a totally refurbished Show Bar and swimming pool facilities.
Also in Scotland; Grannie's Heilan' Hame Holiday Park is able to boast the total refurbishment of its Boston House Restaurant & Bar.
For 2010 Mullion Holiday Park, in Cornwall is benefiting from a £650,000 investment including 22 new holiday home sites for the new Buddock and top of the range Ashton caravans; a non-smoking holiday home with double glazing and central heating.
Plus, extended and upgraded touring and camping pitches are now available.
Cherry Tree Holiday Park, in Norfolk is benefiting from a £420,000 investment in new accommodation and refurbishment of the entertainment venue.
Trecco Bay Holiday Park, in Porthcawl, South Wales is adding an additional 60 new holiday homes to its hire fleet for 2010 to cope with demand for holidays and breaks at this fantastic park. In addition, the park is benefiting from a brand new pizza takeaway; Prego's Pizza, plus a new launderette and refurbished retail outlets.
Other improvements for 2010 include refurbished swimming pools at Tummel Valley Holiday Park in Scotland and St Minver Holiday Park in Cornwall, in addition to a refurbished restaurant at Challaborough Bay Holiday Park in South Devon.
Plus, Southerness Holiday Park, in Scotland, now boasts a refurbished arcade area and upgraded touring and camping pitches.
