Falmouth Week 2010
The largest regatta in the South West is back, Falmouth Week 2010 will take place this year from the 7th – 15th August. As well as providing spectators with some of the best sailing the week also hosts some fantastic off shore entertainment.
Over the week around 450 yachts and dinghies will compete in a number of competitions in Falmouth Bay, giving spectators some of the most spectacular views. The racing will vary from very competitive sailing to local friendly competitions.
Offshore activity at Falmouth Week helps keep the tens of thousands of visitors entertained throughout the week with a wide range of entertainment. Entertainment includes Red Arrows Air Displays, Falmouth Marching Carnival, British Life Saving Sport Championships and an open air performance of Romeo and Juliet.
Falmouth is a beautiful town in South East Cornwall, with a beautiful a harbour, stunning beaches and a historic town centre it attracts visitors all through the year.
