Wet Wet Wet

It was raining when we arrived but managed to stop by the time we left! The caravan was really well equipped and my two grandchildren (aged 6 & 4) were quite happy to stay and play. The indoor pool was an absolute delight.

The staff were all very helpful & friendly.The seagulls having a rave on the roof one morning didn't worry us one bit. We took a trip to Watermouth Castle one day managing to miss the rain. All in all a lovely holiday and I would certainly go back.

Win Win Win

Saturday my eldest daughter won the dancing competition. On Sunday my eldest granddaughter won a kids competition. Then on Monday my eldest daughter won the bingo and my eldest son won a drinking competition.

On Tuesday I won the bingo and a drinking competition, then on Wednesday my daughter won a talent show. On Thursday I won the bingo again and my grandson won 3rd place in fancy dress.

Finally on Friday my daughter won the bingo so every day it was win win win! Couldn't have got any better, we had a fantastic week - wish the weather had been better as it rained from Wednesday till Saturday morning but we didn't notice.

TOURING IN AUGUST

Staff are very friendly on the park, entertainment was somewhat adhoc but very amusing, which made nights there an experience. Come on lads you need to get more material for people holidaying 2 weeks, 200% effort though, great fun for all. The pool was like a bath brilliant and clean, the park is small but ideal location for beach access.

Parkdean needs to spend some money on the touring facilities, new showers, plus dishwashing facilities at both ends of touring park. But the holiday was great and would recommend this site to anyone. Visit the Parkdean group on facebook. Well done all staff there.

Great site

Hi, just came home from a 3 night camping trip at this park, great size pitches yet there were a few small ones aswell, but ours was near the shower block which is the biggest I have seen on a campsite.

Cleaned a few times a day (unisex showers and toilets). Will return again soon, thank you.

Fishing extravaganza

I fished Jenny's lake for 3 days; my chalet overlooked it by yards. My biggest catch of my stay was my 12.5 common carp.

I caught 20 carp, 3 roach and 1 bream during my 4 day stay. It was my best fishing break yet. This is my 2nd visit and I will definitely fish here again.

Stay at Ruda

We have had two long weekends at Ruda this year; the location of the site is fantastic, right next to the beach. We stay in touring caravan field which is very clean and tidy.

The toilets are spotless; whenever we want to have a shower they are always cleaning them! This place is perfect for families; we hope to squeeze another long weekend in this year!

The camp was very clean. The pool was a bit cold but once you were in it was ok. Entertainment was great, good music and very lively.

Bar staff are very friendly and always keen to serve. Downside was there are not enough food outlets for late night eating, have been twice this year so far, will go again soon.

Just returned from our second visit to Nairn. Wow, wow, wow. We enjoyed it so much last year we decided to return this year for 2 weeks. The weather was great; the beach is stunning, better than being abroad. The staff are really friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible.

My 2 children (aged 11 and 8) love it at Nairn, they feel confident, they know their way around and they go off and do their own thing, like going on the play park or to the amusements. It was a truly relaxing holiday, we enjoyed every single second and we all felt really sad to leave.

Our amazing time at Parkdean

My family and myself had a fabulous time at Parkdean’s Torquay Holiday Park. The Troupers kept us entertained in the evening and they were brilliant. We visited Paignton Zoo and the pier, we went on a boat trip from Torquay Harbour, it was 2 hours long and it was lovely.

We also went to woodlands and had great fun getting wet on the water slides. There was plenty to see and do. All in all it was a brilliant family holiday and we will be visiting again.

We've just returned from a 5day stay and can say it’s the best holiday we've had in a very long time. The staff were fantastic (very helpful) the entertainment was brilliant and there was something for everyone.

There are also lots of things close to the site to visit and some fab beaches. We only arrived home yesterday and are already planning our next holiday with Parkdean. This park managed to entertain my 5yr old twin boys which isn’t an easy task. I am really looking forward to our next stay.
