Making your booking
How can I book my holiday?There are three ways in which you can book your holiday:
Online
Why not book your holiday quickly and easily with our online booking system, simply work through the 4 steps and save yourself £10 in the process.
By Telephone
Our reservations team in Newcastle will be happy to take your booking by telephone on
The booking office is open:
Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 9.00pm
Sat-Sun: 8.00am to 8.00pm.
We will then send you a confirmation invoice of your booking by post.
For touring and camping bookings, please call the park of your choice direct - for telephone numbers visit the touring & camping section.

The following are included in the cost of our holidays (except promotional such as Sun Holidays)
- Free gas and electricity
- Free bed linen
- Use of park facilities including:
- Free use of swimming pool (excluding Ruda where a small charge applies)
- Free family entertainment
- Free entry into children's clubs on parks (where available)

a) By credit/debit card, Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Maestro, Solo.
A small charge of 1.25% will be made for all payments by credit card. We regret we do not accept American Express cards.
b) By cheque/postal order
Please make your cheque or postal order payable to Parkdean Holidays and write your name, address and booking reference number on the back. All cheques must be received at least two weeks before the start of your holiday; any holidays booked within this two week period must pay by credit/debit card.
Please note full payment must to be made immediately if you are booking online, we do not offer a deposit for online bookings. On all other booking methods money will be due 56 days prior to holiday start date and we do not send out receipts for payment of final balances, unless requested.

Personal Holiday Insurance covers every member of the party throughout the duration of your holiday for the loss, theft or damage of their luggage, loss or theft of money, personal accident, personal liability, medical expenses and breakdown cover of the policy holder's vehicle.
Our Cancellation Cover boasts a 'no quibble money back guarantee' on bookings made more than 12 weeks before the holiday start date, a full refund will be given regardless of the reason on all bookings cancelled more than 8 weeks before the start date. The reasons for cancellations less than 8 weeks before the holiday start date must meet one of our qualifying reasons, for instance: illness, death, maternity, redundancy, fire, floods, subsidence, malicious damage, jury service or the police requiring your presence following a burglary at your home or place of business.

Pets are not accepted at our Torquay, Holywell Bay and Ruda parks, you may however take your dog with you to all of the other parks in selected accommodation.
There is a charge of £30 per week or part week (max two dogs). (Guide dogs are exempt from these charges and are welcome in all accommodation on all parks free of charge).

Bookings will normally not be accepted where half or more of the party is aged between 17 and 25. If this is the case you must tell us when you book. We have the right to refuse your booking.

The holiday parks on this website cater primarily for family holidays (With the exception of angling parties at White Acres). Bookings from all female or all male parties will only be accepted at our absolute discretion. If you wish to book a single sex party you MUST inform us of this and of the ages of all members of your party at the time of booking.
If your booking is accepted we will send you a Booking Confirmation with the details of your party on it. It is your responsibility to ensure that these details are correct and tell us immediately if they are not. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation in a holiday home if your party is not the same as set out on the Booking Confirmation.

All our parks offer wheelchair friendly holiday homes with the following features:
- Parking outside the holiday home
- Ramp to the doorway
- Sliding doors to each room except the twin room
- Wider corridors
- Large double bedroom with wheelchair access all round
- Bathroom with handrails next to the toilet and a seat in the shower

After you have booked
When will I receive my booking confirmation?Booking online
If you have booked your holiday online you'll receive a booking confirmation by email within ten minutes of booking. If your booking confirmation does not come through please check your junk folder before contacting us.
Booking by telephone
If you have booked your holiday by telephone you'll receive a booking confirmation by post within 7 to 10 working days of booking.

You can add more guests to your booking as long as the maximum capacity of your holiday home is not exceeded. All extra guests must be added prior to you arriving on the holiday park.
Please refer to the terms and conditions of your booking if you have booked a promotional holiday.

If you cancel your holiday you will be responsible for the full cost of your holiday. However if you have bought Holiday Cancellation Cover, you will be covered for these costs depending on when you cancel your holiday and the reasons for cancelling.

Getting to the park
Where can I find travel instructions to the park?Whether you're travelling by car, bus, train or even plane, we've summarised some of the options available to you, check out the directions page in each park section.

When you arrive at your holiday park
What time can I check into my accommodation? Guaranteed check-in time into your accommodation is 4pm on the day of arrival (subject to unavoidable delays). However you are welcome to use all facilities on the park, should you arrive prior to 4pm.

You will need to show your booking confirmation sheet to check in at reception.

If you arrive after reception has closed you can collect your keys from security.
Please note, we do not accept arrivals after 11pm - other than under extreme circumstances, and then security on the park will provide the keys to your accommodation. Please advise us at the time of booking if you intend to arrive late.

Only people listed on the booking confirmation can occupy your holiday home and we can require anyone not listed to leave the park.
Tell me about my holiday home
What is included in my holiday home?All of our caravan and lodge holiday homes include the following:
- Gas fire in lounge
- Fitted kitchen with gas cooker, oven and grill
- Bathroom with shower and toilet

All our accommodation provides sheets, pillowcases, pillows, duvets and covers or blankets. However, we ask that you bring your own soap, towels and other bathroom and kitchen necessities. Please note we do not provide bedding for cots.
Promotional holidays are an exception, there may be an extra charge for bed linen.

All our accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen, with cutlery, crockery and cooking implements for all guests in the accommodation.

Cots and highchairs are available for hire and can be added to your booking for £10 per item. Just add these to your booking when you reach step three of the online booking process.

Do all of your holiday parks have swimming pools?There are indoor swimming pools at the following parks:

All indoor and outdoor pools are fully heated.
Please note there is no swimming pool at Crantock Beach, however whilst staying here, you are welcome to use the swimming pools at any of the other Parkdean parks in the area.

Treetops Grove & Treetops Tots for boys and girls aged 4 to 10 yrs is at all parks except Crantock Beach which has no childrens clubs and our seven star parks all have Star Landers and Star Tot's club instead.
Freestyle Teenagers Club for 10-15+ year olds is available at all parks except Crantock Beach, Sea Acres and Tummel Valley.

All parks offer a range of family entertainment every evening in the club house except for Crantock Beach. Entertainment varies from park to park and you'll receive an entertainment guide when you arrive on park.

Many of our holiday parks are within easy reach of a wide variety of hire facilities, for instance:
- Surfing equipment hire is widely available, especially so in the vicinity of our Ruda, St Minver, Newquay, Holywell Bay and Mullion holiday parks. Surfing tuition is also available at selected parks. Please visit www.surfsouthwest.com to enquire about tuition at Ruda. Visit cornwallsurfacademy.com for tuition in Cornwall
- Fishing is available at White Acres and Warmwell. White Acres offers a well stocked tackle shop but does not hire equipment. Warmwell also has a tackle shop and does hire out equipment.
- There is bike hire available at our Ruda, Cherry Tree, Warmwell, Mullion, Sandford, Tummel Valley and Grannies Heilan Hame parks giving you the ideal opportunity to explore the local areas.
- Ski Hire is available at Warmwell Holiday Park for use on the dry ski slope.

When it's time to go... checking out
What time do I need to leave on my final day?On the day of your departure we ask you to vacate your accommodation by 10am - you are more than welcome to use all park facilities after this time.
