we paid for a summer seasonal pitch on the basis that we would have a grassed pitch with hard standing , what we infact were given was a half hearted attempt at clearing a space, ok there was hard standing but there was no effort to turf the area as we were promised. the trees over hung our pitch so much that the dead branches fell on my car and dented my bonnet, the rats and moles were so rife that we had rat traps behind our awning and the ground was so soft it constantly felt like we were walking in sand. the grass was so bare that it looked awful. several times there were travelers allowed on site, we had 2 of our kids bikes stolen along with one of our gas bottles and 2 chairs.
we were kept awake and had several days ruined with travelers fighting on site and there was so much fear of what trouble might brake out that a few of us had to stay up a;ll night to keep watch over our belongings.
we have been seasonal pitch holders for the last 5 years and this was the first and last time i would put my family on sandford resort.
all our complaints were met with a "oh well" attitude, we even asked for gravel to be put on the mud that clearly wasnt going to be turfed and we never saw a stone arrive! it even took 6 weeks for anyone to come and clear the mud and leaves from the drain which was blocked, when we returned to find a pile of mud and stones coned off right across our caravan preventing me from parking my car on my pitch that was the final straw. your new manager rod stewart admittedly was more pleasant than the rest and his predecessor but rest assured i and my family consider every penny of our seasonal fee to have been a waste of money. the arguments it has caused between our family have ruined what ever fun we could have had.

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful.some of the staff give the impression that they are there for just the money. Entertainment staff are brilliant. Will only eat for the pizza place and restaurant. Most of the park is in picth black as Street light not working.
