Kimmeridge Bay beach, Swanage

Kimmeridge Bay is one of Dorset's finest beaches and lies between the white chalk cliffs of Tyneham and Lulworth to the west and the pale grey limestones of the Isle of Purbeck to the east. The beach offers bathers spectacular views.

Cracking sandy beach, shops and town nestled right behind. Not a big place but perfect for that day on the beach if the sun is shining.

This is one of the best beaches I have been to for a long time. Great for adults and children alike. If you want everything at hand for a great stay then Swanage is the place to go and the kids will love it.

It’s a lovely beach and a beautiful place to stop and rest whilst walking. We had a great time walking through the town and also the trip on the train. We also had a lovely cup of coffee at the station and the cheese scones were out of this world. Excellent day out!

Lyme Regis beach, Lyme Regis

This is one of Parkdeans favourite beaches due to it being popular with our guest for its water sports. Swimmers windsurfers, water-skiers or sailors are all very fond of this beach.

Beautiful, fresh place to visit. Couldn't get enough of the place. The highlight was the walk around the beach before sitting on the grassy hill to eat our picnic and view the stunning panoramic view of the sea.

A sandy cove, walks if you want them. Good pubs.

Lots to do shops cafe clean and lots of sand, nice place to go!

This was our first visit to Lyme Regis. We really enjoyed exploring both the town & beach. There are some nice cafes, people are friendly & part of the beach is dog friendly. The Jurrasic coastline is spectacular. We will definately return for another visit.

Boscombe Pier beach, Bournemouth

In contrast to the delicate wrought-iron and ornate detail of Britain’s Victorian piers, Boscombe Pier is a modern streamlined affair. It has an audacious, almost Googie-style entrance with a geometric cantilevered roof, for all intents and purposes like the wings of a jet. The message is clear – Boscombe Pier has landed.

Lovely sandy beach, plentiful lifeguards, your basic amenities and a big blow up slide - what more could you ask for?

Bournemouth beach, Bournemouth

Probably Dorset's most famous beach, Bournemouth offers a different experience to everyone, with range of water sports, family attractions at the Pier approach or if its just simply relaxing with a good book.

Land trains, arcades and fairground attractions and rides - Bournemouth was buzzing'!! There was a glorious beach and fun atmosphere - it was great!

Lovely sandy beach, sea ideal for inflatable’s, parking better at Durley Chimes end ( a bit cheaper). You can ride land train along from Bournemouth Pier to Alum Chimes which is very enjoyable - better on a sunny day. Pier a bit disappointing - have to pay small fee to enter and not really much on their apart from a few fair rides for younger children.

We were on this beach sat 9th July 2011. Lovely flat sand beach, it was very windy, very but we had a good time anyway, children went into the sea, but it was cold! brrrrrrrrrrrr, lol! Lots to do, eat and see!

Durdle Door beach, Lulworth

Durdle Door is a world famous geological wonder, set right on the Jurassic Coast between Swanage and Weymouth. .This Dorset beach is perfect for bathing or snorkelling.

Gorgeous - worth the walk down, the kids loved seeing the small fish swimming in the water.

Lovely place to visit, great walk even though it was tiring it was worth it, wear the right footwear not crocs like I did. Great views and if you like a cream tea then there is a place that has a secret garden to enjoy and relax in after your long walk.
