Our amazing time at Parkdean

My family and myself had a fabulous time at Parkdean’s Torquay Holiday Park. The Troupers kept us entertained in the evening and they were brilliant. We visited Paignton Zoo and the pier, we went on a boat trip from Torquay Harbour, it was 2 hours long and it was lovely.

We also went to woodlands and had great fun getting wet on the water slides. There was plenty to see and do. All in all it was a brilliant family holiday and we will be visiting again.

Fantastic family holiday

We've just returned from a 5day stay and can say it’s the best holiday we've had in a very long time. The staff were fantastic (very helpful) the entertainment was brilliant and there was something for everyone.

There are also lots of things close to the site to visit and some fab beaches. We only arrived home yesterday and are already planning our next holiday with Parkdean. This park managed to entertain my 5yr old twin boys which isn’t an easy task. I am really looking forward to our next stay.

Couldn't help enough!

Me, my mum, my nan and my two daughters came to stay - ages from 6 to 89 years! We couldn't sort the TV so told reception and they told us what to do straight away! We didn't have a hairdryer so asked reception and they provided us with one straight away!

Light bulb out over the dining room table, once again told reception and when we came home later that day it was fixed! We couldn't have asked for a better holiday, apart from some more sunshine. The staff were very helpful, polite and considerate and the men on the door in the evening were very helpful when reception was shut. Thank you very much.

Return trip

It was quite a few years since I and my family visited Torquay, so this was somewhat of a nostalgic trip back. This time I also had my husband and children with us. Some places we re-visited again and it was nice to see that though there were some changes, things still felt familiar.

My sons enjoyed seeing the places I had been years before and it was nice that they were able to get just as much enjoyment now as I did at a similar age. I think the next time we visit Torquay it will be a little sooner than I had to wait to return. A thoroughly enjoyable time was had by us all and with good health and fortune we all hope to be back very soon.

Great time

This was our first family holiday. Me and my partner were very happy with everything, we have 3 young children ages 2, 4 and 6 and they loved every minute of the holiday.

We had 4 nights at Torquay and we all wished we had booked 7 as there is a lot to do in Torquay - 18 minutes drive to Paignton Zoo, beaches are clean and sandy. Tesco’s and takeaways including Mc Donalds 5 mins drive away.

The only thing I would advise people about are the steep hills on the park, great for young families to run up and down but not too good for the elderly or disabled. All in all we had a great time and will be booking again next year this time for 7 nights and asking other family along too.
