Southampton GB Couple
We did not use the main entrainment centre or eat at the restaurant but both looked nice and the staff member behind the bar wastaff friendly.
the shop was severely understocked due to us staying the last weekend of the season, but there was a tesco and co-op close by.
The location is a little out of Torquay and would be very difficult without a car.
It is also down a country road with no pavement or lighting. This means accessing the local shops and pub by foot is a little dangerous.
The hilltop setting is beautiful.

Hello there, thanks for your review.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get your entertainment passes and that you were incorrectly diverted to your holiday home. Please be assured your feedback will be passed to park to ensure this does not happen again in the future.

Thanks again,

Great week at Torquay

We had a great week at Torquay with lots to do locally. 10/10 to the cleaning team as the caravan was spotless (I'm fussy!), comfy beds and well equipped. Site staff were friendly and helpful. The indoor swimming pool water was very warm (great for babies) with good changing facilities and lifeguards. The grounds were tidy and well maintained. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which again was nicely furnished and the food/drink was good. Lovely play areas for the children. For these reasons we only choose Parkdean sites as their standards are high. Thanks for a great holiday.

Lovely park

We have just returned from Torquay holiday park.

I have to say when we pulled up to the park I had my doubts it didn't seem as big as the Newquay park we stayed at last year but I was wrong.

I would recommend this park very highly, we will be back again next year.

Anoher great Parkdean Resort

On arrival the caravan allocated was rather small and dated; TV was like a small portable which didn’t have reception – but the caravan was clean. We decided to see if upgrades were available. Yes, we got a fantastic 3 bed caravan with all mod-cons. (Odd as we got allocated this type at Trecco Bay, luck of the draw I suppose) but at least we had space and comfort.

All staff we met were polite, helpful and smiled which means a lot. The new play area was good and a lovely big open space for kids to play. Pool was good and staff very helpful and professional, my daughter cut her foot and the staff were well trained and caring. All in all a great park and one we hope to visit again.

Great holiday

My children are aged 8, 13 and 14. We all had a lovely holiday. The caravans were spotlessly clean and the grounds are well kept.

Entertainment was good and there are bits for the kid to do in the day, playing on the big field, playground, basketball courts, swimming pool.

The only thing I would change would be that the shop didn't do meat for dinners, as we had to go into the town... Read full story »

Loved the holiday.
