A must not miss attraction. The gardens alone are spectacular. The views from the castle are stunning. The electric table cloth just leaves you stunned!! It is definitely a castle with a difference.

We enjoyed charming and genuine Croyde village. Saunton Sands, first visited in 1975 when staying at Lobb Fields. Energetic and clean Croyde Beach and Braunton and Barnstaple, especially the Market.

A bit of a walk to get there but well worth it. Lovely old castle, also showing where new bits had been added as it continued to provide defense over the centuries. Quite affordable to get in, also nice tea rooms. A trip there or back on the little ferry is a must for the sights it affords, cheaper than a bay tour that's for sure!

A step back in time wonderful old trams, open topped trams will blow the cobwebs away. Kill two birds with one stone and visit Peccorama at Beer just 10 mins away, a totally mind blowing miniature ride on a railway, plus very relaxing gardens. Be warned you will want to get your spade out when you get home.

No visit to Devon would be complete without a day at Dartmoor's famous Becky Falls, where there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

Beautiful falls and fantastic walks.

Accessible routs to the main falls could be signposted a little better. But overall a very pretty place, a photographers dream, a must see place on the moor!
