We do not use the pool and gym or the entertainment room.
This is down to personal choice although other people did say the entertainment was poor.

Chip shop never opened and the pool closes at awkward times but apart from that the place is a dream!

The contemporary accommodation is just an extended caravan, rather disappointing. The carpets were pale and stained. The accommodation was for 6 but the table sat 4 and the other two seats were at a breakfast bar. There was trimming off the window frame, left on the floor. The location was at the other end of the park from the dog walking area for two very tiny dogs impossible to reach without driving. Booked a year in advance and booked a fishing permit, yet was quite a way from all lakes. Traveled through the night to ensure got to the fishing lodge to book matches, however the main one wishing to enter had been fully booked. Should be able to book these when booking the accommodation. When you book to specifically come to fish these matches a bit of a con when you then cannot fish them. As we traveled through the night and arrived for the 8am fishing lodge opening, needed a lodge number to book but the reception did not open till 8.30. Tired from the 7 hour drive, then had to sleep in the car with the dogs on a very hot day until the accommodation was available, no where to really go whilst waiting. The dog walking field although miles away, was excellent and clean.

The staff made our holiday they were extremely pleasant and helpful, when we entered our caravan the heating had been put on for us which was really nice and the next morning a member of staff knocked on our door to see if everything was ok. The site and the caravan was really clean and tidy, it was the first weekend of opening and very quiet. The husband enjoyed the fishing. We will definitely come back again well done.

Head of housekeeping absolute diamond nothing is ever too much to ask this lady, she searched high and low for my lost charger bless her! We enjoyed our stay as always. Will be returning... Great Place

Our stay in Lodge 32 was just perfect! Hubby fished all day whilst we explored Cornwall - what’s not to Like?

Lodge was kitted out with everything we could possibly need. Fishing facilities are excellent. Restaurant food just average but the surroundings were pleasant.

Value for money and good time

Arrived at the site and was welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. We were offered an upgrade at a very reasonable price and we were pleased that we upgraded to a lodge. It was certainly a home from home, fully equipped and spotlessly clean.

The fishing was 2nd to none, 6 days of great sport.

We will be revisiting and are looking forward to it. Well satisfied.
