I was really disappointed with the whole holiday location:-very nice but the on-site shop hours were when they felt like it nothing else near so not very good. food really was not good Sunday lunch was cold chef kept touching food with her hands to check warm they actually offered to microwave sunday dinner when plated £8.95 for a microwaved meal really?.I payed extra for a veranda couldn't use it pigeons used it as a loo as it was positioned under power cables . Costa coffee machine in bar broken all week, bar also ran out of bottled water and offered tap water as a replacement, and bar also closed before 11pm even though people were still in there, well now the entertainment what a complete and utter joke 2 girls and they could not sing at all embarrassing for the money we payed never again

Hi John,

Thanks for your review and were really sorry you found Holywell Bay didn't live up to your expectations.

Your feedback is really helpful to us and I can assure you it has been passed on but we hope we can welcome you back to Parkdean in the future.

Kind regards'
Penny

It would have been really useful and less stressful to have known beforehand that there is no mobile service from any of our group's 4 suppliers at this park! I have a chronically sick daughter who did not come with us who we were planning to maintain contact with by phone, which was not possible and we had to quickly arrange emergency cover with friends and neighbours on Monday evening - not a good start to our break.
I can see that this would be an asset to some people who want to "get away from it all" but it needs to be made clear so that people have a choice.

Hi,

Due to the location of Holywell Bay were afraid the phone signal ma be 'hit and miss' we're really sorry to hear this made such an impact on your stay and we understand this must have been upsetting.

We appreciate your feedback on this which has been passed on and will also be helpful to onlookers.

Kind regards'
Penny
