Our Autumn Break

On arriving late on Friday evening after 6 hour drive we were delighted to find we could get into our caravan (well it was after 11pm). Unfortunately the van wasn’t suitable so on Sat morning I went to reception and explained about the van I couldn't have been met with any better understanding.

On arriving late on Friday evening after 6 hour drive we were delighted to find we could get into our caravan (well it was after 11pm). Unfortunately the van wasn’t suitable so on Sat morning I went to reception and explained about the van I couldn't have been met with any better understanding.

They immediately gave us another van which was ideal. Although still dog friendly this one hadn't had a badly behaved dog (or2) in it. The food in the little pub next door The Quinn was lovely and reasonable, the couple who run it Pam & Peter were extremely friendly and helpful with directions or places to visit. All in all a lovely week and we didn't want to return home. If you want to try Cornwall then it has got to be Crantock Beach.

October Short Break

We had a short break at Crantock Beach in Cornwall. The park was very nicely laid out, a short walk from the beach. The static caravan was very nice and comfortable and with everything in working order. This site is situated near a beach, within walking distance of Crantock village and a nice local pub, would suit couples or very young families. Will go again.

We had a short break at Crantock Beach in Cornwall. The park was very nicely laid out, a short walk from the beach. Have been holidaying in Cornwall for many years. One of the best ever. The best caravan holiday ever. A rally good site and a really good location will return next year.

Windy Cornwall

Cornwall is a long way from our home in Ontario, Canada... but the visit was worth everything that we paid for the trip. The caravan site was clean and well organised (loved the bubbly personality of the lady that works in the store).

Windy Cornwall

Cornwall is a long way from our home in Ontario, Canada... but the visit was worth everything that we paid for the trip. The caravan site was clean and well organised (loved the bubbly personality of the lady that works in the store).

Our stay was from Aug.26th to Sept. 8th (trailer #100) and thank goodness you guys anchor them firmly to the ground. One night the winds were so strong that the sides of the trailer were moving in and out which was kind of scary. Anyway... other than that we had a fantastic vacation and as they say in the movies "We will be Back".... Thank you.

Visited 27th August for one week and enjoyed it very much. Very clean park, very clean caravan. Been to Newquay many times but stayed at Hendra. Much prefer this caravan park due to location of the best beach in Newquay. Would definitely come back and have recommended it to friends back home.
