Our third 2010 Crantock holiday is fast approching

Well after our earlier holidays this year at this great site we are a few weeks away from the final visit of 2010. As previously mentioned in earlier e-mails we are looking forward to various local events during our 10-day visit.

The community spirit at the Crantock village Bale Rolling is a great experience with the locals making you feel most welcome.

Our thanks go to the site staff for the efficient action they took the night before our June visit when a fire caused problems with our accommodation and we were found a superb alternative.

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

It was my first visit to Parkdean Crantock Beach in July 10. Although I have stayed in caravans and cottages in and around this area I had never stayed here before. Such a well thought out site, every caravan has a sea view.

Walk over a field and car park and your on the beach or the miles of coastal paths. There is a lovely walk to Perranporth or easy access to Trenance Stables for a horse ride up the Gannel.

Crantock is one of the best beaches in Cornwall and the park is quiet, clean and has lovely helpful staff. No need to use the car or pay parking fees to visit the beach. I recommended it to my daughter who loved it also on her visit. I will be rebooking very soon. Thanks to the staff for the lovely holiday.

Our first visit and it won't be our last!

What a lovely site! We have been to many Parkdean sites over the years, but this is our favourite now.

The kids have flown the nest and there is just the two of us. Quiet, clean, great views and of course the weather was good too.

The location of the site is wonderful! It has beautiful views and is just a short walk to the beach. We liked the site because of it's location but also because it had light entertainment.

We took our little boy to the tots club a couple of times in the morning and it was great as it was never really busy. Just a few children enjoying Arts and crafts and playing! If you have young children I would recommend Old MacDonald’s Farm. Children can be hands on; there is a little train, pedal cars and a playground.

You can take a picnic and also dogs are welcome. Would definitely return, but next time we would leave the dog at home so we could stay in one of their lovely 2010 caravans!

April visit fantastic, June and Sept to come.

The weather for our April 16th to 26th Crantock Beach holiday was brilliant, and as usual the accommodation, staff and site were up to their great standard.

We are now preparing for our next visit which is four weeks away in June, our 3rd visit to Crantock in September is handy for visits to the village Bale Rolling, the Newquay Fish Festival and Polo on Watergate Beach all within our stay.

We would most certainly recommend a visit to this park which is within walking distance of a super beach and handy for Newquay.
