Simply Sea Views: Hannah’s Top 4 Park Picks

There’s just something about being able to see the sea from your window that instantly makes you feel like you’re on holiday. Maybe it’s the thought that each morning you can just stroll off and start a fun filled day of splashing in the waves and building sandcastles, or maybe it’s waking up to a breath of fresh sea air and the soothing sound of waves lapping. Having visited all our 24 parks, here are a few of my favourites boasting some of the best sea views in the UK…

Crantock Beach, Newquay, Cornwall

I love this peaceful park as it’s perfect for a relaxing escape when you need to get away from it all. The gorgeous sea views here promise a beautiful beach and sheltered sands just a short walk away, which definitely won’t disappoint if you’re looking for a spot of sunbathing or rock pooling. If you’re like me and enjoy doing a bit of exploring on holiday then the South West Coastal Path walks from the park are a must.

Sea Acres, Cornwall

As the name suggests here you’ll find acres of sea! Wake up every morning, breathe in the uplifting fresh sea air and be greeted by stunning cliff top views down the Lizard Coastline. After enjoying this feast for the senses, get stuck in and stroll down to Kennack Sands Beach for sun, sea and sand (not forgetting the obligatory seaside ice cream)!

Southerness, South West Scotland

Being located right on the edge of Southerness Beach means that you can step straight out from your accommodation and feel the sand between your toes. The views are tremendous, and on a clear day you can see all the way across the Solway Firth to Cumbria! The area is also famed for its glorious sunsets so be sure to try and catch one (from the comfort of your holiday home, naturally) while you’re there.

Grannie’s Heilan’ Hame, The Highlands

One of my very favourites, this fantastic holiday park is perched on the edge of lovely, sandy Embo Beach. You’ll get to experience the magnificent views over the Dornoch Firth and I’ve even managed to spot the resident dolphins swimming past a couple of times! I’d recommend choosing a caravan on the front row with a veranda so that you can enjoy some al fresco dining whilst taking in those fabulous views.

So there you have it, the choice is yours. Whichever park you choose I hope you have a fantastic holiday!
