Exmoor Zoo


Exmoor Zoo is a unique rural zoo set into a valley in North Devon. The combination of some very exotic and unusual animals rarely found in other zoos (along with everybody’s favourites) have led to Exmoor Zoo becoming one of the finest attractions in Devon.

A hidden gem that once found is often revisited enabling visitors to experience the lives of animals from all around the world in the different seasons of Exmoor. The tranquillity of Exmoor, the beauty of rural Devon and the close proximity of the world’s most special animals makes Exmoor Zoo a must visit place for anybody!

National Marine Aquarium


As a charity and the largest aquarium boasting the deepest tank, largest viewing panel and the native exhibit, the National Marine Aquarium has a lot to offer visitors. This year, the aquarium will be welcoming two new Lemon Sharks, two new Zebra Sharks, and plenty more fascinating new animals for visitors to see.

Ultimate Adventure Centre


Open daily from 10am until 7pm, the Ultimate Adventure Centre offers the most comprehensive range of outdoor adventure activities available throughout North Devon, with an Ultimate twist.

Their exhilarating experiences include the Ultimate Assault Course (formerly known as Wipeout). The course takes as much skill as it does brawn. Atlantic Coasteering, where you can experience the beautiful Croyde coastline from a whole new perspective. Alternatively, you can test your nerve on one of the UK’s largest High Ropes courses. Devon Badger Watch


Since 1996, the Devon Badger Watch have gradually habituated the badgers on their farm to accept the presence of people sitting in their comfortable, purpose-built hide, overlooking their natural sett. Just a few metres away, you can listen to a live commentary, while watching these beautiful animals in their natural habitat.
