Falmouth has one of the most vibrant events and festivals scenes in Cornwall, with a packed schedule of must attend events throughout the year. And this coming autumn is no different, with three very different festivals taking place in October, and all just a short distance from our holiday parks in the South West of Cornwall; Mullion and Sea Acres.

Falmouth Oyster Festival (11/10 – 14/10)

Celebrating the beginning of the oyster dredging season, the Falmouth Oyster Festival hosts a packed programme that includes; Cookery demonstrations, live music, town parade, local seafood, craft marquee and more!

Soak up the festival atmosphere and enjoy sampling the growing variety of delicious Cornish food & drink between 11-14th October, in the Events Square, Falmouth.

Fal River Autumn Walking Festival (19/10 – 4/11)

The beautiful River Fal is one of the most visited areas of Cornwall, stretching from Truro to Falmouth and lined along the way by fantastic scenery and things to do.

The River Fal Walking Festival takes place at the end of October/early November, and takes in the various points of interest , coastal pathways and heritage sites. There are both guided and self-guided walks available, which are graded to suit all different abilities and ages.

Falmouth Beer Festival (26/10 – 27/10)

The largest beer festival in the county, the Falmouth Beer Festival sees real ale enthusiasts from all over Cornwall descend on the town to showcase local and national ales.

The event also includes a wide variety of Ciders and Perry’s in addition to the 200+ Real Ales from Cornwall and further afield. If you’re designated as the driver for someone else at the event, you can also receive free soft drinks throughout.
