Education Vacation in Scotland

Go on an education vacation to Scotland

Education Vacations are now a thing; people choosing holidays based on new activities they can learn or teach. We have been looking at the huge range of activities on offer in and around our Holiday Parks in Scotland. With so much on offer you’re bound to find something new to try in Scotland.

So here’s out top picks for educating while you’re vacating:

On your bike!

Mountain biking is a great way to exercise and explore the colourful forests. Overcome natural obstacles while riding your mountain bike down steep hills, weaving through the trees at exhilarating speed. If you’re not a speed queen, take it slow and calmly make your way through the beautiful Scottish wildlife, stopping to take in the serene section of woodland and maybe enjoy a picnic.

Hole in one

Visit Royal Dornochs Championship course for a spot of golf, the perfect activity for soaking up the beautiful scenery and views while you relax. Many golfers come from all over the world to play here, purely because of its beautiful views and pure white sandy beaches. So make sure you pay it a visit.

Quad biking at Head of Ayr Farm

Head of Ayr Farm Park offers a range of invigorating activities to try including quad biking, ringo sledging and boating. After all the adrenaline and excitement, there’s even time to go and see the animals or try one of the other activities they have to offer.

Monkey business

In all six of our Scottish Parks there are thrilling adventure playgrounds, and at Wemyss Bay there’s an amazing climbing wall. Take up learning how to scale walls or zip wire through trees, you’re sure to find a new hobby and conquer a skill or two here.

Action Adventure Activities

With so much going on, you’ll struggle not to find something new to try at Action Adventure Activities. Walk on the wild side and do a daring blindfolded drive, canoe or even learn to axe throw. Take a walk on the Scotland wild side with this one.

Back of the net

Three of our six Scottish Holiday Parks offer courts for sports, giving you the perfect opportunity to take up tennis, basketball, badminton and more. Our Sundrum and Tummel Valley Parks both have all weather sports courts, giving you the perfect opportunity to try something while staying within the park. Like indoor football or netball. Grannie’s Heilan’ Hame Holiday Park has a tennis and a basketball court that you can use anytime, to net you some court time.

With all these fantastic activities, you are not going to be short of new things to try while holidaying. Whether on park or off park, speak to our staff who will gladly give you advice on the best things to try on holiday.
