From long walks on golden sandy beaches to the wild beauty of Exmoor and Dartmoor, Devon has long been a popular destination for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle on Valentine’s Day. Famous for its white sandy beaches and rugged coastline, Devon really is the perfect place to stay this Valentine’s Day.

Being the largest county in the South West, it’s hard to venture far in Devon without finding something fun and romantic to do. With so many places to choose from, we’ve handpicked our four most romantic places to head this Valentine’s Day.

Branscombe Village is thought to be the longest village in the country, sweeping down along a spectacular valley, past colourful cottages, restaurants and country pubs, all the way down to Branscombe Beach.
