If You Go down to the Woods Today…

You’re in for a good surprise at Faskally Wood, near Pitlochry as the 2013 Enchanted Forest is running this month, with a truly wonderful spectacle of music, lights and visual displays.

The Enchanted Forest will be taking place and welcoming visitors between Friday 4th October – Sunday 27th October.

It will appeal to all ages, and kids can also look forward to the storytelling sessions that take place each night in one of the cosy yurts!

In the Year of Natural Scotland, Perthshire Big Tree Country’s multi-award winning show fuses the creative talents of Kate Bonney and Simon Hayes (lighting designers) and RJ McConnell (sound designer) to create an outdoor experience that will set your imagination alight.

With dazzling visuals and innovative design set against an original music score, including a new orchestral piece, explore the stunning autumn woodland setting of Faskally Wood near Pitlochry. Using the forest as a natural backdrop, you will experience a lighting show that is, quite simply, out of this world.

Take a look at this video for a small taster of some of the stunning displays you can look forward to.
