Parkdean is a UK focused self-catering Holiday Park operator with 24 Holiday Parks; fifteen in the South West of England, six in Scotland, two in South Wales and one in Norfolk.
The company was established in 1999 and offers a range of quality accommodation, including caravan holiday homes, lodges, apartments and chalets, which are available for short breaks and longer holidays throughout the year.
In addition, caravan and camping pitches are available at many locations, whilst a number of pitches are also occupied by privately owned caravans under licence.

VisitScotland Thistle Award
The VisitScotland Thistle award indicates that the holiday home is of a high quality and the caravan park has been awarded four or five stars by VisitScotland Quality Advisors.
Each Thistle home is double-glazed and has full heating, mains water, electricity and drainage. The lounge is spacious, the kitchen well equipped and there is an integral shower room and toilet.
When you see the 'Thistle', you can be sure that you’ll get the best.
David Bellamy Conservation Award
These prestigious awards are given to Holiday Parks that make real achievements in protecting our environment. Different species of animals, birds, flowers and trees find these areas ideal habitats in which to flourish.

Honey Bee Friendly Parks
7 of our parks have been awarded Honey Bee Friendly Status for 2015 by the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme. This means our parks have worked hard to create a honey bee haven where they can access pesticide-free food, shelter and water.

AA Holiday Centre
AA Holiday Centres cater for touring and camping, and are recognised as covering all holiday needs including entertainment and catering facilities. They provide:
- a wide range of on-site sports, leisure and recreational facilities
- exceptional supervision and security
- a choice of eating outlets
- touring facilities of equal importance to statics
- a maximum density of 25 pitches per acre
- clubhouse with entertainment provided
- automatic laundry

Blue Flag Award
The award of a Blue Flag beach is based on compliance with 32 strict criteria set by the independent non-profit organisation Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). These cover aspects of:
1) Environmental Education and Information
2) Water Quality
3) Environmental Management
4) Safety and Services
All Blue Flags are awarded for one season at a time and the beaches are tested each year to ensure the quality and safety remains worthy of a Blue Flag.

Challaborough Bay and
Recognise clean well - managed resorts and rural beaches which have achieved at least the minimum legal standard of water quality.
A total of 28 criteria must be met. Resort Seaside Award beaches are usually actively promoted to encourage visitors and are within easy access of developed facilities. The resort beach typically provide toilets, public transport, first aid, access and facilities for disabled people, information boards, maps, appropriate safety management and excellent standards of cleanliness. The beaches sometimes have cafes or shops close by.
