Fishing Festivals at White Acres

Angling holidays are all about relaxing in tranquil surroundings by the water... but they don't have to be. While you're here, you can try your luck in our weekly resident matches or catch some festival action. See below for details of our upcoming festivals and matches.

Weekly Residents Match

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please pick up a copy of our fisheries information booklet when you pick up your permits or book onto our residents matches, inside are a copy of the competition rules!

For all our residents matches the draw will be done in advance and posted online between 8am & 8.30am on the morning of the match, please go to the White Acres fisheries Facebook page, go to the group section, and click on the group “match results” this is where you will find your peg in the morning and the results after the match

*You must be in possession of a weekly fishing permit to book onto our residents matches.

*Please note we are unable to hire out keepnets for these events.

*You must be in possession of an environment agencies rod license.

Monday Residents Gold Match

Open to all regular open match anglers however you cannot fish the bronze match as well as the gold match. Please book onto the match by the Sunday at 1pm at the latest.

Entry cost for this match is £20 and it’s a 100% pay-out.

Fishing times are 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Wednesday Residents Bronze Match

Only open to club anglers, you cannot enter the bronze match if you have won a 30-peg match in the last 5 years, if you’re a sponsored by a major tackle or bait company. Please book onto the match by the Tuesday at 1pm at the latest.

Entry cost for this match is £10 and it’s a 100% pay-out.

Fishing times are 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Thursday Residents All In Match

Open to all anglers that are residents on park. Please book onto the match by the Wednesday at 1pm at the latest.

Entry cost for this match is £20 and it’s a 100% pay-out.

Fishing times are 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Rules & Regulations

  • There is a maximum of two anglers allowed in a four berth accommodation, three in a six berth and four in an eight berth
  • To fish you must hold a current NRA licence
  • Landing nets are compulsory on all lakes
  • Keepnets are only permitted at matches and you must provide your own
  • Adults are classed as those aged 16 and over for pricing
  • Family permit is for 2 related adults and up to 3 juniors
  • Permits cost more on park. Book in advance to save
  • Lake restrictions may apply during festivals

Festival and weekly resident matches are subject to availability and entry fee. You must be in possession of a weekly permit to take part in the weekly resident matches.

^Anglers must qualify on a White Acres event for the Preston Innovations Festival. Places on this festival cannot be booked.

^^Accommodation for winners’ week is up to the value of £250, limited to one holiday per person. Subject to terms and conditions. Upgrades are available at request and the difference in value will need to be paid 10 weeks before the arrival date or in full if after the 10 weeks. All privately booked customers who have qualified require a £99 deposit. Dates subject to change.
